A real treat on the truck today — a proper Ford Puma Racing in that unmistakable Imperial Blue, collected from Abergavenny in Monmouthshire and run down to Southampton docks ready to be shipped on to its new owner in the USA.
The Puma Racing is becoming a genuinely collectable modern classic — only around 500 ever built, tuned by Tickford with widened arches, AP Racing brakes and a lovely revvy 1.7. Exactly the sort of car that deserves a flat bed and soft straps rather than a long motorway slog.
Loaded carefully in Abergavenny, then a steady run down through the Severn crossing and along the south coast to Southampton, where it was unloaded dockside ready to be handed over for its onward journey.
