Mazda RX8 Collected in Hereford, Delivered to Lampeter, Wales

A nice one on the bed today — a tidy black Mazda RX8 collected from Hereford for Ged, and run across the border to his home in Lampeter, Ceredigion.

The RX8 is a brilliant driver's car, but with its rotary engine and low ride height it's exactly the sort of car owners would rather see arrive on a transporter than be driven long distances. Loaded carefully in Hereford with soft wheel straps, kept low and level on the flat bed, and unloaded straight onto Ged's drive in Lampeter — no fuss, no clutch wear, no extra miles on the clock.

It's a lovely 130-mile run from Hereford, through the Brecon Beacons and out into the rolling Welsh countryside towards Lampeter. A proper cross-border delivery and a beautiful drive in good weather.
